On Tour launched originally as a "road trip" to visit and engage with rural electric cooperatives across the country.
On Tour was later refined to visit and focus on 10 cooperatives. They were selected based on geographical diversity and engagement in their communities. By visiting these co-ops we were able to obtain content (video and images) to use on our digital mediums. The content was then utilized and helped us create short form videos, tv spots, print ads, social media ads while promoting our member co-ops and Touchstone Energy as a national brand.
While traveling, travel was documented on a microsite where most of the immediate content still lives today. The microsite acted as a central hub of content where information could be shared others so that they could participate digitally. This authentic, grassroots digital storytelling campaign lasted for about 2 years and provided more "on-demand" content compared to a traditional advertising campaign. 
This campaign won silver in the 8th Annual Internationalist Awards for Innovation in Media in 2016.
